Eero Nelimarkka’s renewed solo exhibition showcases the national artist’s versatility as an artist
Known for painting the region’s expanse landscapes and traditional Ostrobothnian buildings,Nelimarkka’s long production includes equally sensitive portraits, surprising still lifes and urban landscapes. Curator Riitta Ojanperä’s hanging highlights a wealth of rarely seen works from the 1910s, whose lyricism and sensitivity are unrivalled.
The Nelimarkka Museum has partially renewed the installation for the summer of 2025.
