The Oulu Art Museum celebrates the Day of Finnish Visual Arts by inviting everyone to the art museum for free.
Welcome to celebrate the Day of Finnish Visual Arts at the Oulu Art Museum! The museum is open for free on July 10 from 11 AM to 6 PM. Experience our exhibitions on display for free:
Imagine Abstract
The exhibition from the collections of the Oulu Art Museum encourages the public to approach abstract art and its elements with a curious imagination and explore the dimensions of non-figurative art in a functional and interactive way. Discover the joy of shapes, rhythms and colours - interpretation is free!
Kirjo
Kirjo (“Spectrum”) is an exhibition that resembles a colourful piece of embroidery where contemporary art, handicrafts and duodji (Sámi handicrafts and creative expression) intersect. On display are works by artists from the Nordic countries and Sápmi, created using a variety of techniques.
