On the last weekend of January, Museo Leikki will host a robot-themed construction play event.
Both big and small builders will have the chance to create various structures from light blocks, soft blocks, LEGO, and Plus-Plus blocks. At the party, you can meet the idol of Autobot fans, spin the Wheel of Fortune, and get a Transformers tattoo.
The program also includes playful competitions and block dancing!
The event is bilingual: Finnish and English.
TRANSFORMERS SCAVENGER HUNT
Non-stop, every day from 10 AM to 5 PM
Seek and you shall find! The Transformers have escaped to play hide and seek in Leikki’s exhibition. Can you find the hidden figures?
ROBOT BUILDING STATION
10 AM–12 PM
Let your imagination fly! At the robot station, you can build funny robot characters out of wooden blocks and magnets.
TRANSFORMERS PIN WORKSHOP
10 AM–12:30 PM
Robots are made of iron! In the pin workshop, you can make your own awesome Transformers pin.
Material fee: 2 € / pin.
TRANSFORMERS TATTOO STATION
12:30–1:30 PM and 2:30–3:30 PM
More than meets the eye! At the tattoo station, you can get yourself an awesome Transformers tattoo.
BLOCK CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP
10 AM–12 PM
At the Block Construction Workshop, builders of all ages can create fun structures using Plus-Plus blocks, either by following instructions or using their imagination. Larger blocks are suitable for younger children, and smaller ones for builders over 5 years old.
BLOCK HEAVEN
10 AM–5 PM
Blocks are the best! Builders of all ages are welcome to play with delightful soft blocks and light blocks.
THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE
11 AM–12 PM and 3 PM–4 PM
Good luck! Spin the Museum Play Wheel of Fortune and win a little surprise!
BLOCK TOWER CHALLENGE
10:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Sky is the limit! Join the Plus-Plus Block Tower Challenge, where participants build towers out of blocks. The tallest tower will be awarded!
AUTOBOT MEET & GREET
Saturday and Sunday, 12–12:30 PM and 2–2:30 PM
Big kind giant! Capture your moments with the friendly yellow Autobot at the Museo Leikki photo booth!
ROBOTIC BLOCK DANCE
1–1:30 PM
Cha cha cha! In the block dance, we’ll groove to block music and practice robot-like dance moves.
LEGO BUILDING CONTEST
12.30 and 3 PM
Are you a LEGO Master? Whether yes or no, you can participate in our playful LEGO building contests. Join alone or with a partner. Limited number of teams.
ROBOT LEGO BUILDING WORKSHOP
1:00–3:30 PM
Transform and get moving! Join the LEGO construction workshop, where the only limit is your imagination. Build amazing robot characters using LEGO bricks (for ages 5+) and DUPLO blocks for younger builders.
TRANSFORMERS PAPER BUDDY WORKSHOP
2–4:30 PM
Careful with the scissors! Craft your very own exciting Transformers paper buddy.
The program is included in the price of admission. Changes are possible!
