In the Fiskars Museum main exhibition the everyday and festive life of the villagers is presented from the 17th century to the present day.
Fiskars Museum's main exhibition presents the everyday and festive life of the villagers from the 17th century to the present day. The industry room showcases the ironworks and the production of Fiskars products, the workers’ home illustrates the cramped living conditions among the laborers, and on the upper floor, you can step into the officials’ parlor, school, and office.
The Museum building from 1850´s originally functioned as an office to the machine workshop. Later it served as living quarters for several families and since 1949 as a museum. You will find the museum at the Upper Ironworks. The museum building was renovated in spring 2014 with the utmost respect for history.
