In the exhibition you can learn about Perniö's rich prehistory, the life of villages, manors and ironworks, the roads and routes.
The Perniö Museum is located in the magnificent main building designed by A.W. Rancken in the center of Perniö. The museum building was completed in 1930 and was the second museum in Finland to be built as a museum. The first building in Finland to be built as a museum was the National Museum.
The renewed permanent exhibition of the Perniö Museum was completed in 2021 and has been awarded, among other things, the 2021 Southwest Finland Museum Award.
The exhibition is open from 6.6.-31.8.2025 Wed - Sun 11:00-17:00. Admission to the museum and its exhibitions is free.
