AGF: kuu-tee listening session #8 - Final session

Oulu Art Museum, Oulu

  • 30.10.2025 (16.30–18)

Welcome to the final kuu-tee listening session of the year with artist AGF.

Artist AGF invites kuu-tee participants for a last time to assemble and share the listening circle on Thursday, October 30 at 4.30.pm, to repeat some of the shared exercises and reflect on what we learned.

So for the last kuu-tee collective summoning of Oulu listening people

what have we learned, while listening and drinking tea?

what is collective listening?

is it possible?

did our sensitivity expand?

what is missing in the sound of Oulu?

how from here on do we sound together?

The event will be held in English. Listening session for all ages can be attended with a museum ticket 7-10 e. Museum Card, Kaikukortti and culture vouchers (Epassi, SmartumPay and Edenred's Virike card) are also accepted as a means of payment.

During 2024–2025, the Oulu Art Museum has organized a total of 8 listening sessions in collaboration with AGF. The collaboration has been based on a shared desire to bring people together to experience experimental sound art and collective listening. The two-year program of kuu-tee listening sessions with AGF will end in October 2025.

In 2026, the Oulu Art Museum will continue to organise seasonal listening sessions with a new concept. More information about the 2026 listening sessions will be announced in early 2026.

AGF (Antye Greie-Ripatti) is an internationally renowned artist based in Hailuoto, whose work focuses on sound, language, listening, and politics. Her works range from audiovisual live performances to sound installations, radio programs, and films, emphasizing feminist sound technologies. AGF founded RECon (rec-on.org), an exhibition space for sound and listening, and has been active both locally and internationally. She has presented works at the Centre Pompidou (Paris), ICC (Tokyo), and London's ICA and Southbank Centre. In Hailuoto, she launched Hai-Art, which e.g. commissioned public art and organised the Hailuoto iPad Orchestra for school children.
