Espoo day

We have a lot of fun things to do for the whole family. Come meet the sheep, pet the cute mini-ponies, and get to know different craft-techniques.

There will also be live music and theatre for children!

Please note that parking spaces at the museum are limited. We therefore recommend using public transport.

11.00 AM-2 PM: Lace making with Espoon pitsinnyplääjät

11.00 AM-2 PM: Craft demo: Making inkle band

11.30 AM: Feeding the sheep

11.30 AM-1.30 PM: Mira´s mini-ponies are at Glims

12 PM-1 PM: 4H Meeting the sheep in the pasture (Please arrive in time, we can only allow a limited amount of people in the pasture at a time.)

1 PM-1.30 PM: Theatre Hevosenkenkä: Improvisation theatre

1 PM-4 PM: Craft demonstration: Calligraphy

1.30 PM-2 PM: Kaikuluotain duo plays acoustic music

1.30 PM-4.30 PM: Craft demonstration: Flower stands made from wooden discs

1.30 PM-4.30 PM: Craft demonstration: Old-fashioned carpentry

1.30 PM-4.30 PM: Beekeeper One and a Half will show you how to care for bees

3 PM-4 PM: Meeting the sheep in the pasture (Please arrive in time, we can only allow a limited amount of people in the pasture at a time.)

3.30 PM-4 PM: Kaikuluotain duo plays acoustic music

On Espoo Day, you are also welcome to the museum in national costume!

Café Glims is open from 10 AM to 6 PM. Daily baked salty and sweet delicacies.
