Unique Historical Music from the Time of Kuopio's Founding

In this concert we present a selection of music from around 1775 when Kuopio was pointed out as a city. By that time Finland was a part of Sweden under the King Gustavus III. The music is found in Swedish historical collections and maybe never played in modern times before! During the 18:th century this music was spread around Sweden, and probably also around Finland, and was used for divertissement, birthdays and other occations in both the royal circles and in houses of higher rank. Welcome to listen to unique historical music played on unique historical instrument, to celebrate Kuopio 250 years!
