Space Bridge – workshop for children and young people

With the help of a space bridge, you can travel to another place. Let’s imagine and build a new kind of world! Let’s build space dwellings or ships, satellites, and space bridges in a new shared landscape. Let’s experiment and play with forms and structures! Space constructions are made from candies and various types of wood materials.

The workshop explores what kind of dwellings could be found in space. How would people move around there? What kind of bridge could connect two planets? What would a shared space city look like?

The workshop stimulates creativity and invites participants to consider what life could be like in space, on a different planet. The finished structures will be used to consider what the future of humanity in space could be like. You can take photos or videos of the space city as a souvenir!

The workshop is included in the Aalto2 Museum Centre admission ticket.
