Pumpkin Party

Museum Leikki celebrates Halloween with a Pumpkin Party on Saturday, 24 October, inviting all fans of fantasy characters and stories to join the fun! The programme includes an exciting wizard trail, a tricky fantasy quiz, a fabulous costume contest and a variety of fun workshops. The bravest visitors can also get a sparkling glitter tattoo. Whether you are a wizard, ghost or witch, you are warmly welcome to celebrate Halloween at Museum Leikki’s Pumpkin Party!

The programme is included in the museum admission fee unless otherwise stated. Halloween and fantasy-themed costumes are very welcome!

Pumpkin Party programme

12 noon–1 pm & 2–3 pm Glitter Tattoo Salon
Shine bright like a diamond! Visit the glitter tattoo station and choose a fabulous sparkling tattoo. One tattoo per child is included in the museum admission fee.

10.30 am–12.30 pm Ghost Workshop
Who’s afraid of a ghost? In this delicious workshop, you can create a spooky ghost out of sugar paste. One ghost per child is included in the museum admission fee.

11 am & 2 pm Fantasy Quiz (in Finnish)
Luck or skill? Take part in an exciting quiz and find out how much you know about characters and creatures from fantasy stories.

12 noon & 3 pm Zombie Statues Play Session (in Finnish)
The monster is on the loose! Join a fun game of Zombie Statues, where you’ll dance, race to the platforms and freeze like a zombie. The fastest zombie wins a prize!

1 pm Costume Contest
Who’s the spookiest of them all? Dress up in your best Halloween costume for Museum Leikki’s Pumpkin Party and enter the costume contest, where the most amazing outfits will be rewarded.

2–4 pm Magic Slime Workshop
Bubble, bubble, magic potion! Create your own magical slime using mysterious magic ingredients. Workshop fee €2/slime.

10 am–5 pm Wizard Trail
Abracadabra! Follow the magical trail and encounter objects from fantasy stories along with questions about them. Self-guided and available non-stop throughout the day.
