November's Little Ones' Morning – A Sensory Adventure

At November's Little Ones' Morning, we're setting out to explore the world with all our senses! Babies and toddlers can experience, touch, listen, sniff and discover the world through sensory play. The programme is also ideal for families who don't speak Finnish, as the activities can be enjoyed without understanding the language. The programme is included in admission to Leikki – the Museum of Play. Come and enjoy a morning of discovery, meeting others and spending time together!

Programme for November's Little Ones' Morning

Wordless Music Play at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 am
What does music feel like without words? In these wordless music play sessions, we enjoy rhythms, movement, sounds and shared interaction without needing a common spoken language. Music brings everyone together and invites each person to participate in their own way.
Each session accommodates 12 adult–child pairs. Places are reserved at the museum ticket desk when purchasing admission and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wooden Toy Play Area, 9 am–12 noon
Little explorers can discover different wooden toys, shapes, textures and materials. Try things out, build, sort and explore at your own pace.

Enchanted Forest Light Play Area, 9 am–12 noon
Explore the fascinating world of light, colours and shadows in this atmospheric play area. Light-up blocks, colourful materials and different light elements invite children to experiment, build and discover their surroundings in new ways. There is plenty to explore and wonder at for both babies and toddlers together with their adults.

Scent Station, 9 am–12 noon
Explore the world of scents together with different scented bags. Can you recognise any familiar smells? Which scents are your favourites?
