The permanent exhibition "Environment as a heritage" displays the diversity of nature in Central Finland. Also temporary exhibitions. The Section of Natural Sciences serves as a preservation unit for natural scientific research, and displays environmental subjects and research material. A collection of 300 000 samples, mostly inverberates, plants and moss.
