Beeswax casting and fortune-telling from a cup, at the Qwensel carriage shed.
Using tin for fortune-telling started in late 18th century among the gentry in coastal areas. During this time, tin has also likely been melted at the Qwensel House to predict the coming year. In addition to beeswax and tin, lead and stearin were also used for casting. Museums entrance fee.
