In the exhibit we present traditional furniture painting and indoor decorations in the Ostrobothnian agrarian society.
During the summer of 2025 we will along with 8 other museums present the shared exhibit "Decorated", which will be about traditional furniture painting and indoor decorations in the Ostrobothnian agrarian society. In the cottages, you can see different techniques for decorating furniture and furnishings, such as graining and splash painting. We also showcase beautifully painted chests and finely decorated engagement gifts.
