In 2025, it will be one hundred years since the birth of the artist, professor Reidar Särestöniemi.
Reidar Särestöniemi was one of the most successful artists of his time in Finland, whose colorful works still touch people today.
Rovaniemi Art Museum celebrates Särestöniemi with an exhibition 24.1.–1.6.2025. The exhibition gives a comprehensive overview of Särestöniemi's career, including both early works and large and spectacular oil paintings. The exhibition presents works from museum and private collections. Also several unprecedented works are on display.
