We'll celebrate the International Museum Day 2025 beforehand on Saturday the 17th of May. Free admission!
We offer in cooperation with the English speaking amateur theatre ensamble "Lost for Words" two shows at 13.00 and 16.00. Free admission.
Riders to the Sea is a play by Irish Playwright John Millington Synge. Written over one hundred and twenty years ago, it depicts a sailor's family's daily struggles, tragedies and maritime folklore. Originally set in Ireland, we have adapted it to be set in Rauma. The play is 30 minutes in English and fits perfectly within a visit to Rauma's Maritime Museum.
