Exhibition opening: Kirjo

You are cordially invited to the opening of a group exhibition in Oulu Art Museum.

How can people live more harmoniously and sustainably as part of Earth's multispecies community? Kirjo brings together contemporary art, crafts and Sámi duodji crafts from the Nordic countries and Sápmi.

Exhibition is curated by Ki Nurmenniemi and features artists Liina Aalto-Setälä (Finland), Sara Blosseville (France/Finland), Hanne Friis (Norway), Ellen Grieg (Norway), Sasha Huber (Switzerland/Haiti/Finland), Kristin Larsson (Sweden), Kim Laybourn (Denmark/Norway), Sakari Matinlauri (Finland), Christelle Mas (France/Finland), Kirsti Muinonen (Finland), Outi Pieski, Biret & Gáddja Haarla Pieski (Sápmi) and Anna Ting Möller (China/USA/Sweden).

The exhibition opening is open to public and the admission is free, welcome!

Opening of the exhibition at 5pm: curator Ki Nurmenniemi and Oulu Art Museum’s curator Selina Väliheikki

Valona duet will perform in the exhibition halls and later at 6pm in café Kaari

The café of the Art Museum will be open until 7pm.
