Perspective Tour July 23 at 5 PM: The Weaving Workshop at Tarvaspää

The series of perspective tours related to the exhibition "I Want to Do Everything Myself!" continues on Wednesday, July 23 at 5 PM. Tour in Finnish.

During our perspective tour on July 23 at 5 PM, we’ll explore Kirsti Gallen-Kallela’s diverse skills and interests, with a special focus on the rug weaving workshop that operated at Tarvaspää. As examples of Kirsti’s work, two rugs from the Espoo City Museum’s collections are on display in our exhibition.

Exceptionally, the tour will take place in the museum’s lower tower room. Please note that the space is not fully accessible. The perspective tour will be streamed live on Instagram, and the video will be saved.

Our head guide Vilma Lahdenkoski will lead the tour. The duration is approximately 30 minutes. On the evening of Wednesday, July 23, museum entry is free of charge. Welcome!
