WeeGee Live: Superposition

Jazz can be enjoyed at WeeGee in the summer as well! During WeeGee’s Pride Week, on Friday 7 June, Superposition takes the stage. The group consists of drummer Olavi Louhivuori, saxophonists Linda Fredriksson and Adele Sauros, and bassist Mikael Saastamoinen. All of them are familiar figures to followers of contemporary Finnish jazz through numerous projects, and three of the band’s four members have in recent years also honed their interplay in the internationally touring group Linda Fredriksson Juniper. Superposition itself attracted wide attention both in Finland and abroad already with its debut album and quickly rose to become a sought‑after live favorite thanks to its intense performances.
The concert will take place in the WeeGee courtyard and admission is free.
