The exhibition presents five rarely seen works by Helene Schjerfbeck from the Nordea Art Foundation’s collection.
Schjerfbeck is regarded as one of the most esteemed figures in Finnish art and a pioneer of modernism. The works on display from the Nordea Art Foundation’s collection span nearly the entirety of her artistic career, offering glimpses into its various phases – from early history-themed compositions to her contemplative later portraits.
