K-pop Belongs to Us! – Beats, Biases and Fandom
Leikki ─ The Museum of Play, Espoo
- 16.4.2027–28.11.2027
What is it like to be a K-pop fan in Finland? Opening on 16 April 2027, the new mini exhibition at Leikki – the Museum of Play invites visitors into the colourful world of K-pop fans and explores the many ways people express their fandom.

K-pop is much more than just listening to music. It's about dancing, collecting, creativity, friendships and shared experiences. For fans, K-pop can be an important part of everyday life, self-expression and a sense of belonging. But what inspires someone to learn the choreography to their favourite song, collect photocards of their favourite idols or travel halfway across the world to see their favourite artist perform live?
K-pop Belongs to Us! – Beats, Biases and Fandom explores the many different ways people engage with K-pop. The exhibition puts fans themselves centre stage: their stories, experiences and collections reveal what fandom means to them and how K-pop can be seen and heard here in the North.
Whether you're a dedicated K-pop fan or just discovering it for the first time, the exhibition invites you to dive into the world of fandom.
