Håkansböle’s playhouse
Håkansböle Manor Museum, Vantaa
- 17.6.2026–30.8.2026
This summer you get to peek into Leikkimökki (“Playhouse”) in Håkansböle manor’s yard.

The playhouse was built for the manor’s children in the early 1900s, and now you can see its furnishings for the first time. The oldest furnishings date all the way back to the turn of the 1800s-1900s, and they were made by a carpenter. The newer furniture and items were acquired for the next generation of players in the 1940s-1950s.
The children of the manor called their little playhouse Lillaböle. They used to have coffee parties and run a patisserie in the playhouse. After admiring the playhouse, you can start baking or making coffee at Leivinaitta (“Baking Shed”), which is situated right next to the playhouse. The baking shed has a genuine wooden stove and baking oven.
The manor's outdoor exhibitions are open on May 18 - September 15, 2024, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am till 4pm. In July, the exhibitions are also open on Wednesdays, from 1pm till 6pm. Free admission.
