The Pielinen Museum's summer exhibition offers a magnificent range of art by Olavi Martikainen (1920–1979). It includes paintings and drawings from both the collections of the city of Lieksa and a private collection.

The outdoor museum opens to visitors on May 15th. During the summer season, the Pielinen Museum is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm from 15th May to 15th September 2026. Closed on 19th of june 2026.
