On Baltic Sea Day, the Rauma Maritime Museum invites you to feel at home by the sea and discover the town’s rich maritime heritage. By learning about Rauma’s seafaring past, you can better understand the town and its unique connection to the Baltic Sea.

- Free admission to the exhibitions from 12:00 to 16:00

- A free guided tour in easy Finnish from 16:30 to 17:15 – designed to make the city’s maritime history accessible and help you connect with it

- Selected keywords translated from Finnish into English in the exhibition halls to help visitors follow the guided tour

The aim of the Baltic Sea Day is to inspire people to enjoy our unique home sea and to take concrete actions and make promises to protect it. In addition to the celebrations, Baltic Sea Day seeks to raise awareness of the sea’s diverse nature, culture, and history.
