Encountering art with a philosopher

The discussion will start at 15:30. We recommend arriving about half an hour before then to give you time to choose an artwork that says something to you, and to write down a few things that it brings to mind. You can use your own note-taking tools or, if needed, get a pen and paper from the ticket office. Register at the ticket office when you arrive.

Piloted by philosopher Ilmari Helin, we will gather around the artworks that have sparked participants’ ideas, and discuss those thoughts together. Our aim is specifically to flit from topic to topic like butterflies, so all you need is an inquisitive mind. May art give wings to our conversation!
