Cucumber Scooter Fest

Finnish toy design – what is it? Well, it is, for example, a legendary Cucumber Scooter! Do you still remember Åland based Finnish toy manufacturer Plasto’s Moon Animal from Cucumber Land? As part of Helsinki Design Week, Leikki celebrates this wonderful thing as a unique everyday object, as a ride nostalgic to many generations, and as toy design.

The program at the Cucumber Scooter Carnival is suitable for the whole family. For example, you can obtain the Cucumber Scooter driving license, submit your favourite Cucumber Scooter memories to Leikki’s collections, or join the hunt for little Cucumber Scooters. On the stage, there will be an interesting panel discussion about toy design and nostalgy, and pictures of scooting with a Cucumber Scooter will be presented.

This event is made in cooperation with Plasto and Tactic Games. The event is part of Helsinki Design Week.
