Welcome on Saturday, 20 September, to the opening day of the printmaking triennial Graphica Creativa – Dreaming Is Seeing!

 

On the opening day of the exhibition Graphica Creativa – Dreaming Is Seeing, free admission to the museum all day from 11:00 to 18:00!

The day will also feature artist talks with participating artists from the Graphica Creativa exhibition (the schedule will be announced later).

17th Graphica Creativa Printmaking Triennial – Dreaming Is Seeing

Through dreams and imagination, we can see the world differently. We can open pathways to alternative futures and look at familiar things with new eyes. What possibilities can we discover when we dare to dream? Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the international printmaking triennial brings to Jyväskylä a diverse selection of contemporary art and echoes of history. The triennial also premieres the interdisciplinary artwork FLOS – Arctic Flowers, a gesamtkunstwerk by Vappu Rossi, Tuomas Norvio and Aino Peltomaa’s ensemble Gamut!.
