City of Light Festival 2025 in Jyväskylä Art Museum

Welcome to the Jyväskylä Art Museum during the City of Light festival! You can explore our autumn exhibition, the magnificent Graphica Creativa, free of charge on Fri–Sat, Sept 26–27. The museum is open from 11 AM to 10 PM, with light-themed surprises included!

17th Graphica Creativa Printmaking Triennial – Dreaming Is Seeing

Through dream worlds and imagination, we can see the world differently—opening paths to alternative futures and looking at familiar things with fresh eyes. What possibilities emerge when we dare to dream? The 50-year-old international printmaking triennial brings to Jyväskylä a rich selection of contemporary art and echoes of history. The triennial will also premiere the a cross-disciplinary installation and series of performances: FLOS – Arctic Flowers, an artwork by Vappu Rossi, Tuomas Norvio, and the Aino Peltomaa Gamut! ensemble.

Please note: During the City of Light atmosphere, the museum will have extended opening hours until 10 PM on both Friday and Saturday, Sept 26–27, 2025.
