A photo exhibition curated by photographer Meeri Koutaniemi.
Curated by photographer Meeri Koutaniemi, this photo exhibition is a portrait of the everyday lives of three rainbow families living in Finland in the 2020s. The stories and photos in the exhibition were produced at a photography and self-expression workshop held by Koutaniemi. There are also portraits of each family photographed by Meeri Koutaniemi on display.
Born in Kuusamo in 1987, Meeri Koutaniemi is a photographer, editor and artist. Koutaniemi’s international award-winning photographs highlight people’s right to self-expression and agency. Koutaniemi was named Press Photographer of the Year in 2012 and 2013. Her photos have been showcased in more than 50 exhibitions around the world.
