Montandon – The Forgotten Dynasty of Swiss Watchmakers

Montandon – The Forgotten Dynasty of Swiss Watchmakers takes you on a journey to the heart of Swiss horology through the legacy of the Montandon family.

Originating from Neuchâtel, the Montandon family has been part of the watchmaking industry since the 18th century, leaving a lasting mark on its history.
Montandon watches are known for their refined design, beautiful dials, and patented innovations. The timepieces on display tell the story of the family's diverse expertise.
Watches from the Montandon dynasty have graced the White House, and one is even exhibited at the Louvre in Paris.
This exhibition presents the story of a watchmaking family that is today less known in Finland, where craftsmanship, technical innovation, and aesthetic sensitivity come together. Welcome to discover the unique heritage of the Montandon watchmaking dynasty.
