On the guided tour, exhibition assistant Elina Suutari and birdwatcher Terho Taarna explore Sanna Kannisto’s photographs from artistic and scientific perspectives.
The exhibition Sanna Kannisto: Studium Naturae on display at Roos House focuses on the lives of birds. The internationally renowned photographer’s work is based on fieldwork and research collaborations—both in the rainforests of South America and at the Hanko Bird Observatory.
On the guided tour, the works are explored from both artistic and scientific perspectives, as exhibition manager Elina Suutari and birdwatcher Terho Taarna discuss the birds in the photographs as well as bird research and birdwatching.
The tour is in Finnish and is included in the admission fee (€8/5).
