Christmas at Loviisa Town Museum begins on 28th of November when the Commandant's house is decorated with traditional decorations.
The Christmas atmosphere at Loviisa City Museum will be created by decorating the second floor of the museum with old-fashioned Christmas decorations, including the traditional Christmas tree. You can come and get your own inspiration for Christmas all the while learning about how Christmas was celebrated in the past.
The museum mice at the Commandant's House are also in the Christmas spirit, as they have put on their red Christmas hats and moved to their new Christmas hiding places. The Christmas season at the museum will end at the traditional time, when Saint Knut takes Christmas away on 13th of January.
