Everyone's Birthday: Sanna Haimila x Aine Art Museum

In August, local artists will be celebrated in Tornio - the Aine Art Museum's anniversary program invites you to art workshops and learn about recent history

Sanna Haimila's workshops Sat–Sun 22.-23.8.2026 at the Aine Art Museum

On Saturday 22.8. 11–15 (finnish time) there will be a non-stop workshop, the technique of which is drawing with charcoal. The workshop will experiment with the possibilities of charcoal and different ways of reproduction. You can come to the workshop with a finished subject or receive a subject from the artist. The workshop does not require prior skills or knowledge. No advance registration. Suitable for all ages. Under ten years of age accompanied by a parent.

Sunday 23.8. 10–15 (finnish time) Plexiglas painting workshop. The workshop involves painting on transparent plexiglass with acrylic paints. No prior skills required. Pre-registration by August 14, 2026. Registration at aine.taidemuseo@tornio.fi. Suitable for all ages from 13 years old and up. Includes a lunch break, snacks available for purchase at Café Aine.

Both workshops are free and include materials.
