Artist Meeting: J.P Köykkä

Artist J.P. Köykkä, whose work is featured in the Form of Heritage exhibition, will discuss his artworks, their backgrounds, and his artistic practice within the exhibition space. The event offers a unique opportunity to explore the exhibition in greater depth together with the artist.

The artist talk is part of the Muu-joulu event at Kalevan Navetta on Saturday, 21 November, from 1 pm to 2 pm. You are welcome to join for the entire tour or simply drop in for a shorter visit.

J.P Köykkä

J.P Köykkä (b. 1987) lives and works in Seinäjoki, Finland. He graduated from Tampere University of Applied Sciences with a degree in visual arts in 2015. Köykkä has held several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Finland and abroad. His public murals can be seen in various locations throughout Finland. J.P. Köykkä’s works are included in several notable collections, including the Finnish National Gallery, the State Art Deposit Collection, the Tampere Art Museum, and the Saastamoinen Foundation.
