The Battle of Koljonvirta

The old cabin called Mäntylä holds an exhibition that focuses on the Battle of Koljonvirta. It explains how the battle and the war affected Finnish fate as a country and started a period of autonomy that lead to independence.

In the exhibition you can learn about curious characters related to the battle, its phases and weaponry and the life of soldiers in the early 1800s.
