Ahlström Voyage exhibition open

You can now explore the Ahlström Voyage exhibition in 28 languages, including English via a QR code located in the exhibition!

This exhibition in the old forge provides an interesting insight into the history and present of the Ahlström companies, the family and the Noormarkku ironworks over a period of more than 170 years.

The company's story is a significant part of Finnish industrial, architectural, art and design history. The exhibition includes art glass from Iittala, Karhula and Riihimäki glass factories. From the exhibition, you can find unique pieces from Tapio Wirkkala, Timo Sarpaneva and several Savoy vases designed by Alvar Aalto.

There is also an impressive miniature model of a the ironworks area.

The exhibition space is accessible and equipped with an elevator. At Makkarakoskentie 34 B, you’ll find ticket sales, a museum shop, and restroom facilities.
