Welcome to the opening event of the That’s Why There Was LoiskiS exhibition! On this special day, you can enjoy live music from the children's orchestra Loiskis and get creative in the Activity Corner Nappula by crafting your own musical instrument!
On 5 April, the ground floor of Aalto2 will host a new exhibition celebrating the diverse career and history of Loiskis: That's Why There Was LoiskiS – The First 25 Years of the Children’s Music Orchestra. The exhibition will open with a special themed event day, welcoming visitors of all ages. Alongside opening speeches, the day will, of course, feature live music from Loiskis itself, a performance by clown Dodo, and a chance to get creative in the activity space Nappula – where you can even craft your own musical instrument!
Perhaps you could even bring your new instrument to a future gig?
Programme for the day:
1 pm – Opening of the That's Why There Was LoiskiS exhibition
2–3 pm – Performance by Loiskis and clown Dodo
3–3:45 pm – Guided introduction to the That's Why There Was LoiskiS exhibition
11 am–6 pm – Build Your Own Rhythm Instrument workshop at the Activity Corner Nappula
The event day is included in the Aalto2 Museum Centre entrance fee. Children under 7 enter for free.
