Between Worlds – From Heritage to Digital Reality
Oulu Art Museum, Oulu
- 7.6.2026 (13.00-16.00)
Art workshop that explores the connection between traditional artistic heritage and today's digital culture.

Between Worlds - From Heritage to Digital Reality is an art workshop that explores the connection between traditional artistic heritage and today's digital culture. Inspired by French Impressionist painters such as Monet and Cézanne, participants will begin by creating small artworks using recycled materials and personal or collective symbols drawn from nature, memory or architecture. They will then photograph and digitally transform their creations using free apps, blending handmade textures with light, color and motion. The process reveals how culture and identity can evolve through digital expression — bridging the poetic and the technological, the local and the universal.
The art workshop is free and it will be held at the Oulu art museum 7.6. klo 13-16. Registration takes place at the museum on the day of the art workshop. Places are limited up to 10 and we will accept participants in the order of registration. The workshop is open to participants over the age 12. No previous skills are needed. Volunteers will support participants with language, materials and app usage. All materials are recycled and free.
