Christmas returns once again to Palander House, filling the rooms with the warmth and charm of a bygone home. Year after year, the museum’s traditional Christmas has become an increasingly popular way to experience the true spirit of the season.
Visitors can explore the preparations for Christmas as they were a hundred years ago. The seasonal exhibition reveals stories of festive traditions, gift-giving, and holiday dining in the Palander family home. In celebration of Jean Sibelius’s anniversary year, the magic of Christmas is brought to life through beloved Finnish Christmas carols. Step into the elegant atmosphere of an upper-class family’s Christmas and enjoy it until Epiphany, 6 January 2026.
