Crown of the Forest – Routa Design 10.1.–15.3.2026

The Crown of the Forest exhibition continues Routa Design’s series of showcases inspired by Finnish mythology. This body of work features sculptures inspired by the beauty of Finnish nature, spirits from folk tradition, inhabitants of the forests, and the enchantment of campfire tales.

The exhibition explores nature through both mythological themes and the contemporary relationship with the natural world. Most of the works have been crafted using traditional blacksmithing techniques, while also incorporating modern metalworking methods and photography. The pieces offer perspectives into the many layers of our forests — both physical and narrative.
