Children's Day 2026

The Children's Day will be held for the last time in our current premises, so now is the time to come and explore our attractions, some of which are only open on the day of the event!

The program includes, among other things, exploring the museum's exhibitions, airplanes and flight simulators, a music workshop led by JAMKIDS for 0–5-year-olds, a variety of workshop activities, such as the Heureka`s Rocket Workshop, and the museum's miniature model workshop. In addition, the program includes performances such as the hand puppet show 'Toukka ja & Suuri seikkuilu' (Karoliina 'Karkki' Illi) and the interactive dance fairy tale 'Kisu Pikkulainen Avarusseikkailu' (Mamia Company). During the day, you can also join the Little Pilot's flight school tours and meet the museum's discussion guides in the exhibition.

In the museum's courtyard, you will find a playground with a pedal airplane, as well as favorite attractions DC-3 'Lokki', Cessna and MiG.

Once again, a huge number of Aviation Museum friends and aviation operators will be present, such as the cheerful customs dogs, the Police, the airport rescue operators, Heureka, the Museum Card, the Finnish Aviation Association, the Air Patrol Malmin Tuulenkävijät, the DC Association, etc.

This year, the museum's own Café Yläpilvi, Thaibob and Happy Days Street Food will be responsible for the food.
