Summer Day on the Water – Experimental Floating Vessels

You will build different kinds of floating vessels n this workshop. Let your imagination soar, play with materials, and create your own raft, boat, or even a floating island. You can test the seaworthiness of your vessel in the water basin during the workshop. We will also take a look at Alvar Aalto’s Nemo boat and summer days at the Experimental House in Muuratsalo. In this non-stop workshop for all ages, you can spend your time building whatever you like. Children must be accompanied by adults.

The workshop is part of the LystiKylä festival programme and is included in the admission fee to the Aalto2 Museum Centre.
