PHOTO EXHIBITION - FOREST SPIRITS - CHRISTINA THODÉN

The exhibition showcases the diversity of nature and animals in Finnish forests. The trail takes the viewer to explore the lives of bears and wolves, increasing awareness of our large carnivores.

The goal is to show the life of bears in all its diversity, including the life patterns of wolves, wolverines, ravens, and other forest animals. The exhibition offers an easy way to get acquainted with the magnificent animals of Finland's forests, to see bears and wolves up close while learning how nature plays and makes play. The exhibition is an invitation to explore Finland's forests, our heartlands.

Christina was introduced to photography in the late 1970s by her father, who worked as a photographer and gave her her first film camera. Her father also taught her the art of moving in nature and respecting all living things. Through the camera lens, Christina enters another world where she can follow her beloved animals and admire the magnificent nature. She received her professional training as a nature photographer from Paavo Hamunen, a respected nature photographer and educator in Finland.
