To celebrate the opening of the 90s Corner mini-exhibition, Leikki – the Museum of Play offers a wonderfully nostalgic programme for everyone who loves the 90s!
Troll dolls, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Tamagotchis are back! On Wednesday 2 December 2026, the 90s Corner mini-exhibition opens in the pop-up space at Leikki – the Museum of Play (open until 11 April 2027). The opening evening features a special programme for everyone who loves the 90s. The programme is included in museum admission.

90s Photo Wall, 4–7 pm
U got the look! Dress up in your best 90s style and capture a fun memory! The photo spot offers 90s-inspired props to help you complete your look.
Paper Fortune Teller Workshop, 4–7 pm
It's time to bring back one of the most legendary school break favourites of the 90s! In this non-stop workshop, you can fold traditional paper fortune tellers and fill them with questions, stickers and your favourite colours.
Guided Tour: Childhood in the 90s (in Finnish), 5–5:30 pm and 6–6:30 pm
Come and relive the nostalgia of growing up in the 90s! Discover the hit toys, music, TV shows and games that defined childhood and youth in the decade. The tour is primarily aimed at adults, but visitors of all ages are welcome.
